The new MESH-Head pad, is the latest addition to the expanding range of electronic drum pads and accessories available from Koby. These pads can directly replace the usual 'rubber surface' type pad in any system. The pads offer a greater degree of sensitivity than the usual 'rubber' type, and have better acoustic properties. The external diameter of all pads (inc Bass pad) are 10 inch diameter which feature a 'real feel' 8 inch diameter MESH-Head (playing area), and tensionable steel drum rim To complement the MESH-Head pad - Koby have re-designed the Cymbal pads (available in 10 inch & 12 inch diameters).
These pads look like conventional cymbals and also mount directly onto cymbal stands or boom arms. The pads can replace the usual 'rubber' type normally utilised for the cymbal(s) in most electronic drum systems. For more information on the Cymbal pads see the 'Cymbals' page. All pads are available separately or as kit combinations.
